The Rev. Lonnie Lacy, Rector[email_link]
Fr. Lonnie was called to St. Anne’s in 2009 after serving concurrently as the Episcopal chaplain at Georgia Southern University and the Assistant Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Statesboro. He is a native of the Diocese of Georgia and was ordained to the priesthood in 2006 after graduating from the Virginia Theological Seminary. As Rector (i.e. senior pastor) of St. Anne’s, his primary responsibilities are in the areas of preaching, worship, discipleship, and leadership development. Beyond St. Anne’s, he is a trainer for the Church Development Institute; the examining chaplain for liturgy in the Diocese of Georgia; and a member of the board of directors for the Tifton Museum of Arts & Heritage. He and his wife Jay have two daughters.
The Rev. Dr. Ellen Richardson, Assistant Rector[email_link]
Rev. Ellen joined the clergy of St. Anne’s in 2014. After serving fourteen years as a small town doctor, Ellen discerned a call to the priesthood and was ordained in 2008. Following ordination, she served bi-vocationally as a full-time palliative care physician and part-time priest in both the Dioceses of Georgia and Virginia. Having retired from the practice of medicine, Ellen now serves St. Anne’s full-time with a special emphasis on pastoral care. She is the author of Holy Dying: Stories and Struggles, published by Church Publishing. Ellen is married to Mark; they have two adult sons.
Emily Guerry, Parish Administrator[email_link]
Emily came to St. Anne’s in 2016 from South Carolina where she served as Assistant to the Dean at Grace Church Cathedral in Charleston. She holds an associate’s degree from Young Harris College, a bachelor of arts degree in history from Washington and Lee University, and a master’s degree in theological studies from Duke University. Emily’s primary areas of responsibility at St. Anne’s are communications, administrative support, facilities management, and bookkeeping.
Stan Smith, Minister of Music[email_link]
Stan came to St. Anne’s as our Minister of Music in 2012. Having made a lifelong career in church music, Stan brings a wealth of knowledge and a variety of gifts in choral and instrumental music. Skilled in choral direction, piano, trumpet, and guitar, Stan directs St. Anne’s choir every Sunday and oversees all special music throughout the year. He also teaches for the Tift County School System. Stan and his wife Mari have two adult children.
