Fellowship & Fun
There’s a lot we take seriously at St. Anne’s, but the one thing we try not to take too seriously is ourselves. As one English bishop once put it, there are two things the Church needs in order to thrive: More prayer, and more parties. We couldn’t agree more.
Although we at St. Anne’s are diverse in many ways, we see our differences as gifts, not hindrances. Through cookouts, retreats, youth group, prayer partners, supper groups, and more, we enjoy sharing our lives together beyond Sunday morning.
If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about any of the events or ministries listed below, download our ministry directory and contact the appropriate person.
Hospitality Ministry
Serves to decorate the Parish Hall for special functions, holiday celebrations, and funeral luncheons by providing table décor and flower arrangements.
Foyer Groups
Foyer groups are like small supper clubs, randomly drawn annually from those who wish to participate. Groups typically share dinner with one another on a rotating basis, sometimes in one another’s homes, sometimes at local restaurants. Foyer groups are a great way to get to know your fellow parishioners.
Kitchen Ministry
The Kitchen Ministry organizes and serves social times, potluck lunches, and full meals on various Sundays and for special events throughout the year.
New Member Welcome
Semiannual gathering hosted at a parishioner’s home to welcome newcomers and introduce them to other members. Typically offered just before the Bishop makes his annual visitation to confirm and receive new members.
Young Adults
Monthly gathering of parishioners and friends in their 20’s and 30’s, hosted on a rotating basis at members’ homes.
Christmas Grounds Decorating
Coordinated effort to decorate St. Anne’s grounds for the holidays. Men and women needed for a variety of tasks!
