In the old days, it was customary for Christians to prepare for the Lenten fast by ridding the pantry of all the fattening stuff: eggs, flour, butter, etc. These ingredients were often used to make pancakes, which would be eaten as part of the last feast before Ash Wednesday. Join us for Shrove Tuesday this year and indulge one last time!
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. February 13 in the Parish Hall.
Tickets are $8 and are available at the church office, from Nicky Lamb or any of the church youth and will also be available at the door. Pancakes, sausage, bacon and more will be served coupled with outstanding wait service from our church youth. Bring a friend and enjoy this scrumptious pre-Lenten feast!
