The Celebrant’s chair is the seat reserved to the priest presiding at any service of Holy Eucharist, and it typically sits on the dais at the left side of the chancel. The chair back is emblazoned with the shield of the Episcopal Church; the seat is decorated with a tapestry interwoven with Cherokee roses, the state flower of Georgia.
