In the old days, it was customary for Christians to prepare for the Lenten fast by ridding the pantry of all the fattening stuff: eggs, flour, butter, etc. These ingredients were often used to make pancakes, which would be eaten as part of the last feast before Ash Wednesday. Join us for Shrove Tuesday this year and indulge one last time!
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. February 28 in the Parish Hall.
You can purchase tickets from any youth member or pay at the door. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for kids (There will be a max amount of $30 for families). If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help, please contact Nicky Lamb at 392-6128; Andera.firstname.lastname@example.org.
