Caring & Prayer

Life isn’t always easy. It’s good to have others to travel the way with you. At St. Anne’s, caring and prayer are a joint effort shared by lay volunteers and clergy alike. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about any of the ministries listed below, download our ministry directory and contact the appropriate person.

  ST. ANNE'S MINISTRY DIRECTORY

Eucharistic Visitors

Eucharistic Visitors are specially trained, licensed laypersons who take Communion to those who are ill or housebound. If you are unable to attend worship due to illness or infirmity and would like to receive Communion, contact our rector, the Rev. Lonnie Lacy.

Lenten Prayer Partners

During the season of Lent, parishioners sign up to be paired with an anonymous prayer partner. As you keep your prayer partner in your prayers–sometimes sending little anonymous cards and gifts to remind them you’re praying for them–another partner is keeping you in his/her prayers. Prayer partners reveal their identities to one another on Easter Sunday.

Martha’s Guild

Martha’s Guild is a group of parishioners who cook and deliver meals to parishioners dealing with acute illness, loss of family, or a new child. If you know of a church member who would benefit from this ministry, please call the church office at (229) 382-7505.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry provides one-to-one, confidential, Christ-centered care by specially trained laypersons to parishioners grappling with major loss or significant life changes. Curious if Stephen Ministry is right for you? View the videos below and contact our Rector, the Rev. Lonnie Lacy.
