St. Anne’s youth hang out together at church, take mission trips to far off places, pray, play, eat pizza, serve the Lord in worship, talk about real life, support one another in friendship, and help each other find God.
Serving in Worship
At St. Anne’s we believe every child should have a meaningful way of contributing to our Sunday worship. Acolytes assist the clergy in serving the altar on Sundays. Children and youth in 2nd through 12th grades are eligible to acolyte. Training takes place regularly through the year. As children grow older, more opportunities to serve in worship become available.
Wednesday Night PreYC
On Wednesday nights children PreK – 5th grade enjoy a night of Bible lessons and age-appropriate spiritual formation, supported by games, crafts, laughter, and fun. The night begins at 6 p.m. with a simple family supper in the Parish Hall, followed by program at 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Why is it called “PreYC”? It’s a play on words. EYC is short for Episcopal Youth Community and is for our older kids. PreYC is the junior version.
Sunday School
On Sundays after worship, St. Anne’s children gather upstairs in the Ministry Center for Sunday School to learn the Bible and grow in their knowledge of the Lord.
Nursery
Our nursery is located on the first floor of the Ministry Center and is open to infants through first graders. Our nursery is staffed by a childcare professional in combination with one or more screened and trained church volunteers. The nursery is always available during Sunday and Wednesday worship and activities, as well as most other occasions when the whole parish is invited to gather.
Child Protection Policies
Our church strives to provide the safest possible environment for our children.
