Conducting a Parish Self-Study

    • Search Committee appoints survey subcommittee chairs-Completed
    • Parishioners respond to parish-wide survey-Completed
    • Search Committee receives interpretation of survey: May 7
    • Parish wide meeting held to discuss survey results-Completed
    • Parish profile written-Completed
    • Vestry approves parish profile-Completed
    • Diocese approves parish profile-Completed
    • Search Committee completes Office of Transition Ministry (OTM) Community Portfolio-Completed
    • OTM Community Portfolio submitted to Canon of the Ordinary and is approved and posted-Completed

Receiving Names

    • Parishioners nominate candidates to Search Committee-Completed
    • Search Committee invites additional nominations and applications-Completed
    • Search Committee receives names from diocesan office and OTM-Completed
    • Search Committee sends parish profile and questions to all applicants and nominees to
      determine interest in applying-Completed
    • Search Committee evaluates and ranks candidates and sends names to Diocesan office-Completed
    • The search committee has received application materials from the first batch of candidates, and zoom meetings are being scheduled. –Completed
    • Diocese receives all application materials and conducts preliminary screening of all candidates-In Progress

Discerning with Candidates: Initial Review

    • Search Committee invites all approved candidates to enter discernment process-In Progress

Discerning with Candidates: Final Review and Identification of Rector-Elect

    • Remaining candidates come to Tifton to interact with full Search Committee
    • Remaining candidates interview with Bishop Logue
    • Search Committee recommends one candidate to Vestry as St. Anne’s next rector
    • Vestry elects new Rector and notifies the bishop
    •  Bishop gives permission for the Vestry to issue a call

Ending the Search Process

    • Vestry extends call to St. Anne’s next rector
    • Vestry, diocese, and rector-elect develop letter of agreement
    • Vestry announces new rector to parish and the public
